With Lady Flower Gardens and ERVCC
Lady Flower gardens is in a bend of the N Saskatchwan river and protected by a conservation easement. In the forest of LFG, you will find goldeneye ducks flying into nests made from snags in the old-growth forest. Oven birds watch from their home in the understory. If you love bats, birds, mosses and lichen you will love LFG. Come out and make friends with a few new trees and maybe even a few new people. This event starts at 130 and ends at 4. Tickets will be $ 20 to cover costs, but no one will be turned away. If you want a free ticket, contact us through our contact page. Watch here for tickets going on sale soon.
The day will consist of 4 synchronous walks guided by experts in their field. The forest walks will be followed by a forest learning expedition. To close the day we will all meet at the Yurt to share light drinks and snacks and share some knowledge with ERVCC and LFG.
