Friends Of Kinnaird Ravine
Friends of Kinnaird was started by Ted Campbell in about 2008. The project was a Master Naturalst volunteer effort. Duriing Ted’s tenure a Cows and Fish riparian health assesment was completed with volunteers and Patsy Cotterill compiled a preliminary plant list (see below). Ted has since moved to BC and Kevin Cantelon now helps moderate its FB page and participates in its stewadship with others residents of Viewpoint and neighbours in The Parkdale Cromdale League.
Sarah Delano has publised a book embedded in Rat Creek (AKA Kinnaird Ravine) called, Rat Routes and Reasons to Gather: Culturally Diverse Culinary Journeys in Edmonton’s Wild and Natural Spaces you can find the book here or order it through Sarah or download the pdf here.

Friend of the Dunnluce Tree Stand Natural Area
Kathleen Mpulubusi helped to start Friends of Dunnluce to ensure its ongoing protection. When the new zoning bylaw was completed, a notation was removed that made us all feel more confident than now that the city is committed to the protection of the tree stand.
